Donetsk Center of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

Only in a Donetsk region about 320 children with congenital heart disease are born annually. About 40% of them are critical, so they will die during first month or first year of life without treatment. DCPCSC is a Department of Gusak Institute of Urgent and Recovery Surgery (IURS), which is one of the leading hospitals in Ukraine. Multidisciplinarity of Institute, modern medical equipment and high professionalism of our members are the factors, which allow us to provide comprehensive investigation and choose of optimal medical tactic and treatment according to world standards for our patients. DCPCSC is a clinical base for Chair of Pediatrics of Faculty of postgraduate education at a Donetsk National State Medical University. Assistance of the stuff of this Chair allows us to treat not only cardiovascular diseases, but a wide range of other pediatric pathologies.
