A bunch of kooks we both are. A tad insane from dehydration, sun exposure, exhaustion, bugs, the heat, and probably a few infections getting to our head, us castaways continue through the magical canals of Teraina to the central fresh water lagoon. Teraina, also known as Washington Island, amongst the remote islands of Kiribati in the central Pacific, holds a unique fresh water lagoon that had converted from saltwater ages ago. It contains a species of eel and giant fresh water trevally that had evolved to freshwater over a long period of time. Are we delusional, or can we truly see the magic?
