Teraina, also known as Washington Island, amongst the remote islands of Kiribati in the central Pacific, holds a unique fresh water lagoon that had converted from saltwater ages ago. It contains a species of eel and giant fresh water trevally that had evolved to freshwater over a long period of time. Are we delusional, or can we truly see the magic?
