Stella by Starlight Steve Giordano/Jason Klinke

This offering is from my latest guitar duo with Jason Klinke playing one of my all time favorite standards “Stella by Starlight“ (Victor Young). The feel on this one is inbetween a ballad and a 6/8 groove. There is a lot of re-harm involved on this one. One example is the Phrygian bridge -Abmi/Bb that is kind of an inversion of the stock G7 5 chord. Also, I eleminate a lot of Emi7-5 chords throughout the tune for a less traditional effect.
