Ibrahim Traore’s Speech that Scared The West & Worries African Leaders.
Ibrahim Traoré is a Burkinabè military officer who has been the interim leader of Burkina Faso since the 30 September 2022 coup which ousted interim president Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba. At age 34, Traoré is currently the youngest serving president in the world. As president, Traoré has continued to conduct himself mysteriously and formally for which he was already well-known. To possibly avoid the negative public perception of his forerunners, he has strived to depict himself as a proper war leader while maintaining tight control over his communication. Pro-government propaganda has grown throughout his reign in both the Burkinabe traditional media and social media. It is wise to say he is a revolutionary, just like Thomas Sankara.
