Goebbels Speech on the Eve of Hitlers Birthday - 19 April 1945

Joseph Goebbels, the Propaganda Ministry of Nazi Germany, held a nationwide transmitted radio speech on the day before Hitlers birthday, e.g. April 19th, every year since 1933. He also did so in 1945, when Berlin was already under attack by the Red Army and large parts of Germany were already occupied. In his speech, Goebbels tries to stirr up the resistance will of the German people once more. Considering the fact that large parts of Germany were already occupied, including many radio stations, it is doubtfoul that many Germans actually listened to his speech. Since Germany was mere days away from total military defeat at this point, the effects of his speech were probably zero. - Subtitles made by me.
