PRE ARRIVAL 2 ALARM STRUCTURE FIRE Brick New Jersey 4/2/23

OC - Brick - 2 Alarm - Structure Fire - 39 Garden Ave. Around 2:15 pm Brick Township got a reported car fire in the driveway at 39 Garden Ave with exposures. Shortly after PD arrived and confirmed the working car fire and that it had already extended to the home. Cheif 2300 arrived and sized up the home to be one story wood frame with car fire exteneding to the home. First due egnine was 2471 from station 24 they came directly into the scene as the hydrant was infront of the home. 71 streched on the home putting a 1.3/4 line in service on the car fire and extiror grarage. Ladder 2325 was first due ladder truck and got ground ladders and sticks to the roof and tools to vent the roof. The fire was also in the attic. 71 streched more lines off the engine and 2301 grabbed a second water supply. Crews operated for around two hours before clearing the scene. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. It’s currently under investigation by the Brick Fire Bureau.
