F1 tests Imola March ’94, Ayrton Senna greets the crowd

On 11th March 1994, just few weeks before his fatal race, Ayrton took part in a test session on the Imola racetrack. I never saw any professional video footage of this event. This amateur footage was taken with a VHS-C camera by my brother at the “Acque Minerali“ corner. At the end of the clip, Ayrton is towed back to his box and greets the small crowd on the stands. Besides Ayrton, the drivers in the clip should be: Gerhard Berger’s on Ferrari #28 (or is it Nicola Larini?), Pierluigi Martini on Minardi #23, Damon Hill on Williams #0, Gianni Morbidelli on Footwork #10
