Combat work of special forces groups of the Airborne Forces

Combat work of special forces groups of the Airborne Forces in the Artyomovsk direction Units of the Airborne Forces reflect the unsuccessful attempts of a counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Artymovsk direction, preventing the enemy from breaking through into the city limits, destroying personnel and equipment on the distant approaches to our positions. Every day, special forces groups monitor the enemy, transmitting valuable information about their movements, the number of personnel and equipment to control posts. Airborne special forces carry out combat work to inspect buildings on the outskirts of the city, where individual saboteurs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are unsuccessfully trying to infiltrate to adjust the fire of their artillery. Having received a combat mission, the paratroopers secretly approach abandoned buildings and inspect them. They move ‘track by track’ since the territory may be mined with NATO-made ammunition. Noticing suspicious movement, airborne special forces throw a grenade into the room. If an enemy is spotted nearby in a field or forest plantation, its coordinates are detected by means of optical reconnaissance and immediately transmitted to the control point for destruction. At the same time, the special forces themselves, taking advantage of the surprise, are trying to destroy it with small arms
