Vietnam War: The Liberation of Saigon, 1975

After a decade of fierce fighting, North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong resistance fighters liberate Saigon from the Rothschild backed U.S. occupation. Saigon is renamed Ho Chi Minh City in honour of Vietnam’s revolutionary leader. With a limited arsenal of weapons the Vietnamese inflicted the first major defeat on the militarily superior U.S. invaders, Ho Chi Minh even defied U.S. threats of nuclear annihilation and remained steadfast in his struggle. And though he did not live to see the victory, inspired a generation of Vietnamese to face their oppressors with courage, dignity and resolve. Let Vietnam’s great victory be a lesson and an inspiration for all those who fight for their freedom today against the same enemy.
