Online premiere of Shurale ballet by Kazan Opera | Онлайн-премьера балета “Шурале” Казанской оперы

The Kazan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre presents Shurale. The show commemorates the 135th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay. Gabdulla Tukay revolutionised national poetry, becoming the founder of a special style in the poetic tradition of Tatarstan and shaping a new literary generation. The cult of the native land is at the centre of Tuqay’s works. The most famous works of the poet are “A Little Journey“, “A Pair of Horses“, “Tatar Youth“, “Dacha“, “Call to Labour“ and “Shurale“.
