Man Fires 30 Shots After Mistaking Pool Cleaner for Intruder

A Florida homeowner fired 30 gunshots in 90 seconds at his pool cleaner, thinking he was an intruder. The shooting that occurred in the gated home left pool cleaner, Karl Polek, with just minor injuries. The sheriff says Polek did not alert the homeowners that he was running late and arriving at night. No charges will be filed against Bradley Hocevar because the sheriff says the homeowner had the right to defend his home against a would-be intruder.
