Rob’s 89 Toyota Rockcrawler from 35’s to 42’s

These are some random clips of my Toyota pickup from Tuttle Creek (near Randolph, KS) and down at Disney, OK. Started out with a Toyota straight axle swap and 35“ procomp xterrains... Ended up 1 ton axles (d60/14b) and 42“ super swamper IROKs. Had a blast in that rig. Yes the engine was making a loud clatter but kept chuggin’ away. The guy I sold the motor to called to let me know the cam was wore so much and that’s why we could never get the valves adjusted right. Front springs was a home brew toy rear pack, 63“ chevy rears. Running a 4.7 doubler with twin stick.
