In this video I show what the Leidenfrost effect looks like when filmed from below. I pour liquid nitrogen on some water and show how the drops of liquid nitrogen float on the water due to its lower density and because of a small pocket of nitrogen gas that keeps the liquid nitrogen hovering on the surface.
