Kayaker filmed breaking record for longest descent of glacial waterfall

A whitewater kayaker has broken the world record for the longest descent of a glacial waterfall. Footage has captured the Spanish paddler’s descent. Aniol Serrasolses dropped 20 metres down the ice waterfall off the side of a glacier in Svalbard. The 32 year old steered his kayak through rapids and ice tunnels before arriving at the drop. He named the drop ‘Philip’s ladder’ in honour of his crew.
