Red Arrows 2024 season launch, Gnat formation and training flights

On Friday 8th March, the RAF Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, celebrated the release of their 2024 airshow schedule with a special formation flypast of RAF Waddington featuring several of the team’s Hawk and Folland Gnat T.1 G-MOUR. The Gnat was the first aircraft flown by the Red Arrows, and this year marks the team’s 60th anniversary. Later in the day, aircraft performed display practice flights in groups of four and six, giving a glimpse at this year’s display routine.
