Beethoven’s “Grand Fugue“ originally composed as the last movement for string quartet , which was later re-written because it was too extreme in its demands for players and audience. Recorded at Wigmore Hall, 16 December 2011, produced by Borletti-Buitoni Trust as part of The Beethoven Project . Elias String Quartet are Sara Bitlloch, Donald Grant violins, Martin Saving viola, Marie Bitlloch cello.
