‘I wanted to pay tribute’: Mark Knight on sketching police inspector Amy Scott

Cartoonist Mark Knight has joined Sky News host Steve Price to explain his decision behind choosing which hero to sketch from the Bondi Junction stabbing. “There were several people that stood up and ran towards it (danger),” Mr Knight told Sky News Australia host Steve Price. “We had the ‘Bollard Man’ which I was considering, we had of course the tragic security guard who was killed. “I think Amy the police inspector stood out – she was the first responder. “I wanted to pay some sort of tribute to her.”
