Crafty Octopus Suddenly Changes Colour

Stella Ditt Pfundstein was swimming off Koh Phi Phi, Thailand, on March 3 when she came across the stunning reef octopus. As the underwater animal swam from reef to reef, its skin colour changed from a deep scarlet to ghostly white as it travelled over the sand below. Stella, a biologist, said: “When I saw that octopus changing its colours, I felt imm
