How to do shadow and highlights using adobe illustrator

Speed or falling effect Shadows and highlights Shiny flare effect Hi Guys, welcome to one more tutorial, I will be drawing piggy bank with a falling coin on top. The art board size im using is 2200 x 1250, the font i use for the dollar sign is Arial Rounded MT Bold.
