I’ve received a lot of questions on how to toast up the perfect grilled cheese in my last video. The secret is ✨lots of butter✨. I added kimchi to mine but the options to zhuzh up your grilled cheese are limitless (pesto, sun-dried tomatoes etc). 🍞🧈
You can choose any cheese you want or have on hand. I normally gravitate towards mozzarella for the stretch and cheddar for the sharp taste. Mix and match to your liking!
Kimchi Grilled Cheese
(Inspired by @gabiekook )
• 2 slices of bread (I used Pane Di Casa from @woolworths_au but any plain white crusty bread will do)
• mozzarella cheese (I used @perfect_italianoau )
• cheddar cheese (I used @crackerbarrel )
• butter (I used @westgoldnz )
• kimchi, chopped
Method:
1. Add your cheeses and kimchi in-between your 2 slices of bread.
2. In a pan over low heat, add a tablespoon of butter and leave to melt. Once melted, add your sandwich into the pan, press down on the sandwich to help
