Kubri - Kubri (Full Album) Kubri means “bridge“ in arab. Walking on this bridge you can feel the influences from jazz to rock, improvisation and psychedelic music. The project was born from two guitarists Riccardo and Andrea (in the past already together in other projects) who indulge in long improvisations, experimenting with sounds and genres without any kind of limit or purpose. Over time, the songs took on more and more shape and with the arrival and influence of the third element Nicola Perricone on double bass, the band started as Kubri definitively in 2018. It is very difficult to put their music into a genre which, like a bridge, connects many musical genres such as psychedelia, jazz, folk, rock, avant-garde, minimalism without ever being fully part of it. Riccardo comes from the psychedelic rock of his Da Captain Trips, Andrea comes from the folk of Infernal Quinlan and the surf rock of Operation Octopus and Nicola comes from jazz and orchestral composition.
