NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 Post-Flight News Conference

Following their six-month stay aboard the International Space Station, the members of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 mission—NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov—are safely back on Earth. Moghbeli, Mogensen, and Furukawa will speak about their mission for the first time after returning to Earth on March 12, answering questions from media and the public. During the mission, Moghbeli completed a spacewalk, a first in her career, alongside NASA astronaut Loral O’Hara. While aboard the station, Crew-7 contributed to hundreds of experiments and technology demonstrations, including studying plant immune function in microgravity, testing materials in the space environment, and observing thunderstorms to understand the effects of lightning and electrical activity on Earth’s climate and atmosphere. Crew-7’s work is helping humanity to prepare for exploration beyond low Earth orbit while benefiting life on Earth.
