Reporting on the ongoing case regarding a man who has been brought before Lincoln Crown Court on charges of rape in Skegness. Saad Gomaa, 33, formerly of The County Hotel in North Parade, Skegness, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates Court yesterday’ Due to the absence of an Arabic interpreter, his case had been postponed. Gomaa confirmed his name, date of birth, and address through an interpreter when he appeared via video link from Lincoln Prison. He was dressed in grey jogging trousers and a grey top. On July 17, the matter was transferred by the magistrates to Lincoln Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing. Gomaa was returned to custody until his upcoming court date. Just after p.m. on June 9th, according to Lincolnshire Police, officers were called to the Tower Gardens area of Skegness in response to a report of a sexual assault. They confirmed that a 33-year-old migrant from the area had been detained on suspicion of sexual assault. Gomaa’s address was shown in court records as being at the County Hotel on Skegness’ North Parade.
