• Official Music Video • HD • 4K • HQ Audio • Subtitle Lyrics Option • Standard Volume Level • Lyrics Transcript Provided Below • This video contains optional subtitles for the lyrics, and these can be activated and deactivated by simply clicking on the “CC“ button beneath the video. The source video I used to create this one is here: That was the best-quality upload of this music video I could find online, and it is the official upload by the official ABBA channel. I have replaced the audio track with a high-quality one, and this involved speeding up the footage slightly, as it was running a bit slow compared to the HQ audio track I am using. I have also added my own optional subtitles for the lyrics. The source video did have optional subtitles for the lyrics, but they were not very well done, particularly in their timing. This song was written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. This track was produced by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, and was released in 1980. Even though it had this music video made for it, it was apparently not released as a single except in Portugal. Here is the Discogs page for that Portugal release: I have not been able to find out how it performed in the singles chart there. A Spanish-language version, titled “Felicidad“ was released as a single in some Spanish-speaking territories, but I have not found any reliable source of information about how it performed in the charts there. Outside Portugal, the English-language version was apparently released only as a track on the album “Super Trouper“. In 1989 it was released as a single in the Netherlands, but apparently was not released in other territories as a single until 1999. According to Wikipedia, it reached No. 15 in the Netherlands, No. 20 in Norway, No. 27 in their native Sweden, and No. 75 in Germany. It appears to have been released as a single in some territories every year since 2007, and Wikipedia presents some information about its chart performance at the following link: (song)#ABBA_version For more information on this song and track, see these pages: New Year (song)&title=Special:Search&ns0=1 Trouper (album)&title=Special:Search&ns0=1 An official presentation of the lyrics to this song is to be found printed in the liner notes of the Super Trouper album, and a nice large picture of the relevant page of the CD booklet can be viewed here: = Presented below and as optional subtitles in the video is my own transcript of the lyrics, for which I have used that official presentation as a guide.
