Ruplty is live from the Chaman border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan on Monday, July 19, as people remain stranded, unable to either re-enter or leave Afghanistan. Spin Boldak, the border town on the Afghani side of the Bad Dosti gate is caught in the conflict between Afghan forces and the Taliban, who have reportedly taken control over the area. The border crossing reopens occasionally for pedestrians, but thousands remain stationed on both sides of the border due to forced closures.​
