Billy Gilman Pays Tribute to Mattie Stepanek on the 2010 MDA Telethon

Award-winning country artist Billy Gilman pays tribute to the late best-selling poet Mattie Stepanek on the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon on Sept. 6, 2010. Stepanek served as the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s National Goodwill Ambassador from 2002 until his death in 2004 of mitochondrial myopathy. In 2003, Gilman recorded “Music Through Heartsongs,“ an album of Mattie’s poetry.
