Guest Curator Luana Rubin discusses “Mother Earth” by Galla Grotto, which is on display in “For the Love of Gaia” at the International Quilt Museum. Galla Grotto was born in Tver, Russia and currently lives in Creuse, France. Parallel to her work in interior and exterior design, journalism, television and fashion, she has pursued painting, graphics, collage, textiles, and decoration. Her work is driven by the pleasure and process of creativity.
