DIY MACRAME PATTERN TUTORIAL NO. 42 | A Strappy Pattern with Semi-Circles

This macrame pattern would make an amazing belt or guitar strap! Once it’s worked up, it’s very solid and doesn’t stretch much. I use a “magic switch knot“ in this pattern which can be tricky at first. But once you figure it out, you’ll want to use it everywhere. Knots to know: Double Half Hitch, Magic Switch Knot Level: Intermediate Cord length: Estimate 3-4 times the desired length. In this example, I use a 3mm, 3-ply cord.
