The six-track Ultra Instincts EP is her first release in six years, showcasing a brand new sound she forged during the transformative period of one-off tracks and remixes for other artists. The EP is out now! In opposition to current trends in techno music, Melania. breaks the genre boundaries and aims for a specific atmosphere that unifies disparate sounds and blends them into an unique palette. The watery sounds of “Aligning With the Pace” bring to mind the Nordic coldness of mechanised nature, while the jagged rhythms of “Empowered” and mesmerising hi-hats of “Fly Butterfly Up to the Sky“ can be traced back to avant-garde interpretations of trap and footwork. Despite their differences, these influences share Melania .’s flair and connect to her higher self through angelic, trance-inducing use of textures, presenting all shades of her personality and passions, while remaining in the realm of fast-paced, heavy dance music. Seb Wheeler from Tropical Waste describes Melania .’s EP in his Waste Mail newsletter as fast, twisted techno with a subtle trancey side that’d sound good in some subterranean dungeon with huge speakers and a fat strobe light. ___ DISCLAIMER: All tracks are uploaded in a low quality for promotional purposes only and with buy links to respect label and artists.
