Fight the Power é o clássico single que o Public Enemy fez para a trilha sonora filme “Do the Right Thing (Faça a Coisa Certa)” de 1989. A trilha sonora foi lançada sob o selo das gravadoras Columbia Records e Motown Records. A música foi produzida por Chuck D, Eric Sadler, Hank Shocklee e The Bomb Squad. A versão que traduzimos é a versão estendida com o clipe original filmado no Brooklyn e que inicia com a histórica Marcha sobre Washington de 1963. Sobre “Fight the Power“ não há nada mais que possamos dizer, é uma música e clipe poderosos, que foram além do mundo do Hip-Hop e da trilha sonora do filme, se tornando um clássico da Música no geral e uma das canções mais importantes da história.
