More about the Jade Suit from one of the Best Excavated Example: the Jade Suit for the King of Chu

China has a long history, and to better understand China, one has to go back to its cultural heritage. Check out the playlist for more about China’s cultural heritage: In 1983, a tomb dated back to Han dynasty was discovered in Guangzhou, China. This tomb was finally revealed as one belongs to the ruler of Nanyue Kingdom. The discovery of this kingdom made people realize that the South of China is actually highly civilized. In the tomb, the most exquisite item discovered is the Jade and Silk Burial Suit 丝缕玉衣.
