The game-jam version is currently unplayable due to Flash, but may become playable again after Ruffle is updated further. The Valley Rule was made in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 29 Game Jam. The Valley Rule follows a girl who is trapped underground. The objective of the game is to solve a few puzzles to unlock the door that leads to the surface. This is a simple platformer game with a nice aesthetic and great music. When it comes to movement in the video looking awkward, remember that the game resolution is up-scaled for the video. You might notice this is available in 60 fps. That’s a lie. I recorded this in 30 fps and rendered with a production format that was 60 fps, so there shouldn’t be any difference between the 30 fps (480p) option and 60 fps (720p) option.
