I played Howls Moving Castle at my school talent show
My performance of Merry-Go-Round of Life from Howls Moving Castle arranged by Joe Hisaishi at Chapel Hill High School.
For the arrangement I used, I took two separate arrangements and intertwined them--the coda was from the “Ghibli Best Stories Piano Book“ while (most of) the rest was from this arrangement: Give them support! very well scored
learning Merry Go Round of Life on the piano took approx. 2-3 months, with about 1-1½ hours of practice a day. I started taking piano lessons around the age of 7-12 years old, stopped playing, and then picked it up about a year ago at 16 years old.
My guess as to what abrsm grade this piece is; around grade 7.
This piece has very deep meaning towards me and I decided to share with an audience to reveal my passion for the song. This was the second day I had performed this piece, with a very shaky and crappy performance due to anxiety the previous day.
the show was not a competition, but
