Thanks on 8th June 2023, Vladimir Popov, a 24 years old russian tourist was swimming with his girlfriend close to the shore of a resort in Hurghada, Egypt when a 4 meter tiger shark attacked him. His girlfriend managed to escape while the shark starts tearing Vladimir to parts. The tragic accident took place in the sight of Vladimir’s father. Sadly, Vladimir kept screaming the name of his father for help during the predator attack. The tiger shark kept circling the same spot for another couple of hours after the deadly attack, which gave the authorities a chance with the help of some local fishers to capture it. Parts of the chest’, belly and the head of the victim were found inside the shark’s stomach, while the rest of the remains where found in the bottom of the sea.
