Theater Talk: “Constellations and Irving Berlin, ’You’re Just in Love’.“

Actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Wilson (2015 Golden Globe-winner) discuss their roles in the new play “Constellations“ and the close-working relationship they have developed while starring in this unconventional and critically acclaimed two-person drama. Also on the program we welcome conductor/arranger Fred Barton, whose next “American Showstoppers“ concerts will be devoted to Irving Berlin. Two performers from the show, Tony-winning Broadway favorite, Karen Ziemba and newcomer, Bruce Landry, join Barton to Berlin’s masterpiece of counterpoint, “You’re Just In Love,“ which was a big hit for Ethel Merman in Berlin’s 1953 musical, “Call Me Madam.” Taped: 02-13-15 Theater Talk is a series devoted to the world of the stage.
