The Bizarre Adoption Story of Ukrainian Orphan Natalia Grace

Natalia Grace was at the center of a bizarre controversy that riveted America. In 2010, she was adopted by a family from Indiana who was told she was a 6-year-old Ukrainian orphan. However, they say they discovered she was an adult posing as a child. In 2019, her adoptive parents, Michael and Kristine Barnett, abandoned her in an apartment and fled to Canada. Michael Barnett told Inside Edition’s Steven Fabian they knew something was wrong with Grace soon after adopting her.
