HOT SUMMER = BIG HARVEST | FULL GARDEN TOUR | Bushcraft & Firewood | SPEARFISHING OFF GRID - We started living off the grid here in the Canadian wilderness four years ago and in the first year we couldn’t grow a garden because the conifer trees were too tall and shaded everything out! Then, last year we filled the raised beds (we milled with our chainsaw) with too many wood chips making the carbon levels too high in the soil. Now the wood chips have composted and our Hügelkultur principals are giving us an abundant garden harvest! Nicolle lead you on a tour of the garden and harvest at the end of the video! Jake also freedives and spearfishes and puts away the most firewood so far!!! Fox is making us laugh all day!
