The reunion that will set... you… free! “Charmed: The Reckoning“ has been a little side project of mine for almost four years! I originally started editing this video in 2020 during the first pandemic lockdown, so I am elated to finally share this piece of visual fan-fiction with the world - and importantly, with other Charmed fans. As a diehard fan of Charmed for over 20 years, I wanted to prove to “the powers that be“ there’s still so much life left in this story and these characters, by way of a reunion that has potential to redeem (in my opinion) some of the shortcomings from the original series, particularly the later seasons. Even as a fan, I am still (lovingly) critical of the direction the show took towards the end of its run. By creating this concept trailer, I hope to pitch new ideas to showcase potential storylines and a new direction for what could be a theoretical miniseries set in the 2020s. I know a revival/reunion in some form is very anticipated by fans and, despite all the controversy and drama occurring behind-the-scenes, I hope in some way this video can serve as a byproduct for that desire. All content used has been sourced from almost 300 different films and TV shows - in fact, in order to make this look as realistic as possible, very little is actually from Charmed at all! In saying that, it’s important to note that I’ve spent literal years compiling and piecing together an enormous amount of content to create this video (not least, doing even more complex masking and editing to make some of those shots possible).
