Final Fantasy 7 as an 80s Dark Fantasy Film (Full Game)

It’s Final Fantasy 7 as an 80s Dark Fantasy Film ... or should I say Final Fantasy VII? Final Fantasy 7 is not just one of my favorite video games of all time... but one of my favorite stories in any form of media. I know how dear this game is to millions of people around the world so I tried my best to flesh this out as much as possible. Even though this is satire, I still wanted to keep the essence of the game, world, and characters intact. Initially, I wanted to make a short 2-5 minute video, but 2 months and thousands of images later... here we are. I wasn’t able to get every character or every scene in there due to time constraints and sanity constraints but I tried to include the story beats and things that were most memorable to me. I started the project with Midjourney v4 which really nailed that 80s dark fantasy aesthetic but it took a really really long time to get the images I wanted due to the randomness and jankyness of the images.
