Astronomia. A three axis tourbillon clock made of wood

This is a visualisation of the Jacobs and Co three axis tourbillon wristwatch. The original watch is quite chunky and very very expensive. This representation is made mostly of wood with a wooden lever escapement and measures about 350mm across the clock arm. It is driven by a novel hybrid electrotension drive, or in other words a rubber band that is tensioned regularly by an electric motor. More details can be found at
