Bread Cutting Board | diy Scrap Wood Project

#diy #woodworking #scrapwood #wood #holzbearbeitung #femalepower 🏳️‍🌈 Hello friends🙋‍♀️ A bread cutting board with crumb catcher made of spruce and beech. Cost: 0 euros. The body is made from scrap wood. The beech sticks of glue wood were intended for a box joint jig, which I unfortunately could not implement, because there are no such narrow cutters. But that doesn’t mean you have to throw the wood away! I always wanted a bread cutting board with crumb catcher in the kitchen, which looks chic and which can be emptied comfortably. The length of the bars was already predetermined, so I could only arrange them crosswise. I like that better and gives my version more stability. I oiled the frame with linseed oil. When gluing the frame, I used two miter angles. Why only two? Because I only have two. The tape alone would have been quite sufficient. However, the angles were useful for squaring up the frame. I noticed a few things after the fact that I could have done differently. But anyway, it’s the result that counts! I did it my way! Goal achieved! A nice, meaningful project, it was fun and very enjoyable in the kitchen (and less crumbs)! ▶️ If you like this video, please give me a thumbs up 👍 and leave a comment 💬. ▶️ If you want to support my channel - please subscribe 🫶.
