Deep Deep Down // Lukas Häfner (Eric Roche Cover)

This Song is very special to me. I was introduced to Eric Roche’s music when I was 15 years old. Sadly the same year that Eric passed away. The way Eric used percussive elements in his playing was totally new to me at the time. I spent hours trying to figure out some of his songs by ear. He is probably the main reason why i developed such a strong love for the acoustic guitar. Deep Deep Down is one of the first solo guitar songs that i ever learned and i still love it to this day. It has a very spiritual, meditative vibe and it always calms me down when i play it. I hope it has the same effect on you and it can help you keep your cool in these crazy times!
