Kenyan MP calls on UK to pay reparations for colonial period

A member of the Kenyan parliament is demanding that Britain pay compensation for the atrocities committed against Kenyans. The demand comes amid King Charles’ four-day visit to the East African country during which he expressed his regret for the brutalities during the colonial period and as Kenya struggled for independence.
