Lunn for Panopticon, deeply felt by Waldgeflüster Cello performed by Nostarion Lyrics: The earth was soaked from low hanging mist ghost of the last nights storm I went to my tools and i did choose the shovel on the wall. It was packed with rust and it’s splintered handle suited me just fine. In this stage of decay and uselessness It seemed a friend of mine. I set off into the woods for a hill to die upon. for worth in a worthless world only to discover loss . On the first strike my shovels blade was blunted on stone and slate I can’t even seem to bury myself without another damn mistake. And with every shovel full another memory floated through my mind . and I’d fill this pit back up with my tears if I had any left to cry. the deeper that I dig the more that I regret I ever started digging at all. I was so low I had to dig a hole just to have some place to fall. As the rain fell down I hoped I’d drown, and rid the world of my misery. I’d be better off floating face down than people having to deal with me. For a moment I climbed, but all the roots and rocks on the walls came lose. Sent me crashing down back to the bottom of this watery grave I did choose. And with every shovel full another memory floated through my mind . and I’d fill this pit back up with my tears if I had any left to cry. the deeper that I dig the more that I regret I ever started digging at all. I was so low I had to dig a hole just to have some place to fall. All Rights Reserved To Waldgeflüster & AOP Records © 2023
