Drunk magpie on fermented apples

This poor magpie had eaten apples on the ground around an apple tree in my parents garden in Akkerhaugen, Telemark. The fermented apples made the bird so drunk that it could barely walk. An easy prey for other magpies or predators in this state. Let’s hope it went well. (For those who wonder, Mom did look after him...)
