I HAD A PEAK EXPERIENCE - AND THIS IS WHAT IT DID TO ME

“Abraham Maslow was a psychologist interested in peak experiences, the upper echelons of human experience, moments that seem to crack us open in ecstatic radiance. Roland Griffiths, psychedelic medical researcher at Jons Hopkins University described these mystical experiences as “inverse PTSD”, they are revelations of the divine. But how to show these experiences? How to share them? They are often beyond words, inefable, from another realm. This is where ART comes in. Poetry. Literature. Music. Painting. Cinema. All of these have provided a pathway to manifest our consciousness outside our minds in front of our eyes. This video represents the next step in that evolution. Created in conjunction with artificial intelligence, the images rendered alongside my words open up a kind of waking dream. Welcome to my imagination.“
