No Dig Market Gardening: Seeding, Harvesting, Planting

Welcome to our no dig organic farm and the August episode in our monthly market gardening series. In this video we’re going to cover seed starting in the nursery, I’m going to harvest a bed of beans, and immediately transplant a crop of lettuce in the empty no dig garden beds. Starting with the sowing of seeds in nursery trays. I’ll show you the entire process (and the tools) we use to successfully sow seedling trays. Once we’ve sowed the seeds in the nursery we’re heading outside to crop out a bed of beans. After the beans have been harvested and removed I’m going to prepare our no dig garden beds for the next plant succession: lettuce. At the end of this video you’ll know the exact process we follow to flip a bed on our no dig organic farm.
