Gallamesh - Servants of Ira [Official Music Video]
Official video for our new single ’Servants of Ira’
The lyrics are inspired by Dhiravamsa’s ‘The dynamic way of meditation’ in which he references the Buddha’s story of an anger-eating demon. The demon effortlessly provoked quarrels and causing national or racial hatred was no challenge. Once a war began, the demon could gorge himself effortlessly because war multiplies hate. The story is intended to show how we can either feed the demon with our anger, or starve the demon by simply observing anger and choosing love instead. In this song we paint a picture of the demon, and we name it Ira.”
’Servants of Ira’ is the second single from the band’s debut EP ’Conditioned Pt. 1’ which is set for release June 20th, 2024.

Lyrics:
Feed me war
As I descend from the sky
I survey the domain of these mortals
Their flesh and bone is the prison where I have sowed And now
I can smell that my harvest is roiling
I reap what is mine from your cycle of bullets and fire
Open my throat I will gulp down your rabid desire
Feed me war I never tire
I need you to give in
Let ire nourish me
Feed me war I never tire
Nurture your anger
Servants of Ira
I have nested my seed where its hard to detect
Charcoal flowers blossoming where you least expect
Hiding inside your ambition is my predation
Riding your mind to my satisfaction
Feed me war I never tire
I need you to give in
Let ire nourish me
Feed me war I never tire
Nurture your anger
Servants of Ira
I have nested my seed where its hard to detect
Charcoal flowers blossoming where you least expect
{solo}
Saturate me with your violence I’m alive so you won’t see
At the brink of your awareness lives my only enemy
Saturate me with your violence I need you to bleed
Never look inside to witness my starvation will set you free
