First ARIA of The QUEEN Of The NIGHT from MOZART’S OPERA The Magic Flute“ Leah Kras Лия Красиловская

I sing the first aria «O zittre nicht, mein lieber Sohn» as the Queen of the Night from Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute“ (staged by the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus ). Here I tried to turn my hands into expressive alluring-caressing waves)) In this aria, according to the plot of the opera, the Queen first calms the fears of Prince Tamino and tries to win him over, then tells a sad, but fictional, story about the abduction of her daughter Pamina by the wizard Sarastro and finally turns to Tamino with a passionate plea to save her daughter and promises her to the prince as a wife. This aria is no less difficult and virtuosic than the famous second revenge aria of the Queen of the Night in which she appears formidable and vengeful. There I appear in a completely different image, see the link - (I apologize for the sound, the recording in the theater was only done on camera). ________________ Исполняю первую арию Царицы Ночи «O zittre nicht, mein lieber Sohn» из оперы Моцарта “Волшебная флейта“ (в постановке Большого театра Беларуси ). Здесь я постаралась превратить свои руки в выразительные маняще-ласкающие волны)) В этой арии, по сюжету оперы, Царица сначала успокаивает страхи принца Тамино и пытается расположить его к себе, затем рассказывает печальную, но выдуманную, историю о похищении ее дочери Памины волшебником Зарастро и, наконец, обращается к Тамино со страстной мольбой спасти её дочь и обещает её принцу в жёны. Эта ария не менее сложна и виртуозна, чем знаменитая вторая ария Царицы Ночи, в которой она предстает уже совсем в другом образе - грозной и мстительной.
