The Active Volcano in Canada; Atlin Volcanic Field

Canada contains 21 active volcanoes. One of these volcanoes is located within a remote section of British Columbia near the town of Atlin. In 1898, miners in the region reported a volcanic eruption from one of the several cinder cones in the region. The volcano I am referring to is called the Atlin Volcanic Field, which is one of the lesser known volcanic complexes within Canada. If this volcanic complex was to erupt again, the nearby town of Atlin would be put at risk. This video will discuss this volcano, and mention what its future hazards are. This video was made by a geologist who is based in Arizona. Additionally, it was made to celebrate Canada Day (although a day late)!
